T3 halogen bulb4/16/2023 ![]() ![]() I then did the same with the reproduction T3 headlights and came up with differences between the two. Since I still do not know exactly what year the original T3's are from, and what should be on my car, I documented what I had and did the best I could trying to take pictures of a convex glass surface and noted any markings in the front of the glass lens. When these arrived, I unboxed them and looked them over for any obvious flaws and found none and then wired them up to a car battery to test them and they worked fine. This I could live with so I ordered a pair of the reproductions. The price had also come down to $109.99 plus $10.00 shipping. I looked some more and then found out someone else was reproducing them. I then did a little more looking around and found out the reproductions T3's I had seen before were no longer being made. Once they arrived, I looked them over and found no obvious flaws then tested them using a car battery and they worked as the seller said they would. At least with these from what I had found out would be more correct and authentic in appearance than the newer style halogens in the car currently. I decided the price was right and bought a set of them. Recently I came across a person that had a few original sets of T3 headlights he had collected over time and was selling them. This was not in the budget so I put the purchase on the back burner. ![]() I began my search a while back and at the time, there was a company offering reproduction T3 headlights at anywhere from $169.99 to over $189.99 plus shipping for the pair. I then started doing some research now and then and what little I did find out about correct headlights for my car left me with more questions than answers (and you never know how accurate internet info really is). ![]() Since I'm wanting to have as many original parts on my 1968 Chevy II Nova, or at least ones that are authentic in appearance, I did notice when I bought the car it had replacement halogen headlights in place. ![]()
